Value!

Hearthstone Huddle

Welcome back! This week I’m covering some creatures from the new set that get very little play but are actually great cards. These cards have value but never see the light of day.

Gnomish Experimenter. It’s a 3/2 for 3 so decent on cost and it draws you a card. That’s a good value but here’s the catch. If it’s a creature card, it gets transformed into a chicken, which is a 1/1 beast. This card is best used in heavy spell decks like miracle rogue.

Burly Rockjaw Trogg. A 3/5 for 4, it gets +2 attack each time your opponent cast a spell. This card is great on cost and 5 defense means it might stick around for a while. Best used against heavy spell decks.

Goblin Sapper. A 2/4 for 3, it gets +4 attack while your opponent has 6 or more cards in hand. Great on cost and a nice defense, there’s nothing like a 6/4 on turn 3. This card is best used against Handlock or with a Mill deck.

Illuminator. A 2/4 for 3, it restores 4 health to your hero if you control a secret at the end of your turn. It has good stats for the cost and should be played with secret Mage and Hunter decks.

Bomb Lobber. A 3/3 for 5 so not good on cost. I know this post is about value so here’s the kicker, it deals 4 damage to a random enemy minion as it comes into play. That’s a pretty good battlecry effect and you get a 3/3 body to boot. It should probably only cost 4 but for 5 mana you could do a lot worse. This card should be played in decks lacking removal.

That’s it for this week. Thanks for reading. Enjoy!
