Hearthstone Huddle

There was an update this week and a build is dead because of it. This week the popular card Undertaker, was nerfed. It now reads “whenever you summon a creature with Deathrattle, gain +1 attack. You no longer gain the +1 to defense. Cancer Hunter will be much less prevalent because of this. I understand this card was over powered, I just don’t know if this was the right fix. Maybe a change in cost could have been more effective. Or maybe if it was a 2/1 to start with, it would be easier to deal with later on. Anyways, it’s done and we adapt.

I wanted to cover some cards in the new set that are my personal favorites. These cards aren’t necessarily the best, it’s just my preference.

Dr. Boom. It’s obvious. It’s the most dominating card in the new set. A value at 7 mana and an instant target for Bog Game Hunter, this card is still great because of the Boombots.

Spider Tank. On the other side of the spectrum, this card is as plain as they come. With great stats, it’s a solid 3 drop that we desperately needed.

Floating Watcher. This card is a wonderful addition to the demon fold. It gets bigger every time you take damage on your turn. It has decent stats for its cost and is a great target for Voidcaller.

Snowchugger. A great card for the Mage. It is cost efficient and freezes any target it hits. It has a ton of value against attacking heroes. An underrated card that is now in every mage deck.

Piloted Shredder. This is probably my favorite card from the new set. A solid 4 drop for 4, it leaves behind a random 2 drop when it dies. This 2 drop is always random, and is (usually) a good drop. Sometimes you’ll get a doomsayers and that is terrible but it’s usually good.
